The Board of Trustees serves as the guiding pillar of the choir, ensuring that our mission, values, and ministry remain strong and focused. They provide oversight, support, and direction that help the choir grow in faith, excellence, and service to the community

Responsibilities of a Board Member
Board members play a key role in guiding and supporting the Divine Mercy Choir. Their responsibilities ensure the choir’s stability, growth, and strong foundation in ministry
Serve a 5-Year Term
Each board member commits to a five-year period of leadership, ensuring consistency, stability, and long-term guidance for the choir.
Annual Contribution
Board members support the choir’s sustainability by making a yearly financial contribution worth UGX 200,0000 to help fund operations and ministry needs
Attend Board Meetings
Members participate in scheduled meetings called by the Board Chairman to discuss progress, challenges, and key decisions
Participate in Strategic Planning
Board members help shape the choir’s future by contributing to planning sessions that focus on growth, development, and ministry direction
Support Fundraising Initiatives
When called upon, board members help mobilize resources, lead fundraising activities, and serve on committees that support choir projects
Offer Advisory Support
Board members provide guidance on spiritual, moral, financial, and administrative matters, helping the choir operate with integrity, purpose, and progress

Free Choir Services When Needed
Board members and their immediate households are entitled to complimentary liturgical services from the choir. Whether it is a celebration, a thanksgiving, or a special church event, the choir will offer its ministry at no cost as a gesture of gratitude for the member’s service and commitment.
Support During Bereavement
In moments of loss, especially the passing of a parent or child, the choir stands with the board member to provide comfort, musical support, and presence. The choir offers free funeral liturgical services and emotional support, unless other arrangements are mutually agreed upon.
Unwavering Support from the Choir
Board members receive ongoing support from the choir in various life circumstances. This includes spiritual encouragement, community presence, and practical assistance when needed. The choir remains committed to walking with the member and their family in both joyful and challenging seasons.
